MP-ASI merupakan akronim dari Makanan Pendamping-ASI (Air Susu Ibu) merupakan suplemen nutrisi yang diberikan kepada bayi selain Air Susu Ibunya ketika seorang bayi/anak anak telah memasuki usia tertentu. 

WHO Sendiri menyatakan bahwa seorang bayi sudah bisa diberikan MP-ASI setelah memasuki usia enam bulan atau jika sudah siap untuk menerima MP-ASI. Lalu, apa saja kriteria atau tanda-tanda seorang bayi sudah siap untuk diberikan MP-ASI?

Bentuk-bentuk MP-ASI sendiri bisa bermacam-macam, mulai dari makanan buatan sendiri hingga bubur atau biskuit bayi dengan berbagai merek yang dijual di toko-toko atau apotek terdekat.

Selain itu, Bayi juga dapat diberi buah-buahan, seperti pisang, Alpukat, buah naga (tentunya dengan porsi yang disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan si bayi). Buah-buahan tersebut dapat diblender atau dihaluskan terlebih dahulu agar perut bayi kita dapat mencerna makanan yang masuk.

Mengenal Jurnal Predatory

Jurnal predatori harus di hindari oleh para peneliti. Hal yang patut anda ketahui tentang jurnal predatori, sebagai berikut :

1. Banyak jurnal Scopus yang masuk dalam kategori Predatori. 
2. Jurnal predatori sebagian besar adalah open acces, atau ada charge ketika melakukan submission journal.
3. Jurnal predatori biasaya sangat mudah ditembus, anda sediakan uang dan seminggu, atau maksimal 1 bulan, paper andah sudah di accept dengan sedikit revisi.
4. Cara paling aman adalah masuk ke website https://beallslist.weebly.com/, dan ketikan jurnal atau publisher yang anda pilih.
5. Apabila jurnal yang anda target tidak ada disitu, masukan kata kunci publishernya. Apabila publisher yang menaungi jurnal yang anda target, jurnal tersebut bisa masuk dalam kategori predatori.

KESEHATAN MENTAL DAN PENYESUAIAN DIRI TERHADAP LINGKUNGAN

Beberap faktor yang sangat menentukan dalam usaha pencapaian mental yang sehat dan adjustment serta adaptasi pada lingkungan adalah: struktur kepribadian individu, yaitu bentuk-bentuk responnya yang alami dan respon-respon pribadi berkat latihan (geconditioneerd), serta cara individu memasak penglaman-pengalaman hidupnya. Keadaan individu tersebut sangat ditentukan oleh faktor-faktor sebagai berikut:

1. Kondisi dan konstitusi fisiknya, yang menjadi faktor penentu herediter (hereditair determinant). A.l sistem persyarafan, sistem kelenjar, sistem otot, kesehatannya (dalam keadaan sakit atau sehat) dll.
2. Kematangan taraf pertumbuhan dan perkembangannya. Terutama faktor intelek, kematangan sosial dan moral, serta kematangan emosionalnya.
3. Determinan psikologis, yaitu berupa: pengalaman-pengalaman, trauma-trauma, situasi-situasi dan kesulitan belajar, kebiasaan-kebiasaan, penentuan-diri (self determination), frustrasi-frustrasi, konflik-konflik, dan saat-saat kritis.
4. Kondisi lingkungan dan alan sekitar, misalnya keluarga/rumahtangga, family, sekolah, lingkungan kerja, teman-teman dan lain-lain.
5. Faktor adat istiadat, norma-norma sosial, religi dan kebudayaan.

BERFIKIR KRITIS DAN KREATIF TENTANG PSIKOLOGI

Berfikir Kritis (critical thinking) adalah kemampuan dan kesediaan untuk membuat penilaian terhadap sejumlah pertanyaan dan membuat keputusan objektif berdasarkan pada pertimbangan-pertimbangan yang sehat dan fakta-fakta yang mendukung, bukan berdasarkan pada emosi dan anekdot. Para pemikir kritis mampu mencari kekurangan yang terdapat dalam argumen-argumen dan menolak pernyataan-pernyataan yang tidak didukung oleh fakta. Mereka menyadari bahwa mengkritik sebuah argumen tifak sama dengan mengkritik orang yang membuat argumen tersebut. Mereka juga bersedia terlibat dalam perdebatan yang seru mengenai kebenaran sebuah ide. Meskipun demikian, berpikir kritis bukanlah sekedar berpikir negatif. Berfikir kritis meliputi kemampuan untuk bersikap kreatip dan konstruktif-kemampuan melontarkan berbagai penjelasan alternatif terhadap kejadian-kejadian yang ada, memikirkan dampak dari hasil penelitian yang di peroleh, dan mengaplikasikan pngetahuan baru ke berbagai masalah sosial maupun pribadi.

Kita sering mendengar bahwa semua sudut pandang harus di ajarkan kepada siswa atas dasar “keadilan” dan “keterbukaan pikiran”, akan tetapi tidak semua sudut pandang, teori dan opini benar dan didukung oleh bukti. Kadangkala, orang membenarkan kemalasan mental mereka dengan mengatakan dengan bangga kepada anda bahwa mereka berpikiran terbuka. Menurut hasil observasi peneliti, berpikiran terbuka memang baik, namun jangan terlalu terbuka karena otak anda akan menjadi kacau.

Banyak pendidik, filsuf dan psikolog, yang berkeyakinan bahwa pendidikan dimasa sekarang mempersempit wawasan siswa, karena tidak membantu para mahasiswanya untuk berfikir kritis dan kreatif. Kritik yang dilontarkan ini menyatakan bahwa para pendidik dan siswa memandang pikiran manusia seperti gudang tempat menyimpan “jawaban yang benar” atau seperti spons yang dapat diperas dan dapat cepat mengucurkan pengetahuan. Pikiran manusia bukanlah gudang atau spons. Kegiatan berfikir, mengingat dan memahami, menuntut kemampuan untuk membuat keputusan, membuat pilihan dan mempertimbangkan fakta. Memang banyak siswa SMU dan universitas yang menyelesaikan pendidikannya dengan modal menghafal. Meskipun demikian, tanpa disertai kemampuan berfikir secara kritis, mereka tidak akan mampu mengemukakan sebuah argumen yang rasional dan mengolah iklan-iklan yang menyesatkan dan mempermainkan emosi. Mereka mungkin tidak tahu bagaimana cara menilai proposal politik atau calon politisi, atau memutuskan apakah mau punya anak, dan kapan saatnya jika mau, atau megevaluasi obat-obatan, atau menemukan solusi yang konstruktif terhadap berbagai persoalan yang dihadapi.

Pentingnya berfikir kritis tidak hanya sangat diperlukan untuk menunjang kehidupan sehari-hari. Lebih dari itu, berpikir kritis merupakan hal yang sangat penting dan mendasar untuk semua ilmu pengetahuan. Berpikri kritis menuntut keterampilan logika, meskipun keterampilan lainnya serta kecendrungan sifat juga penting. Berikut akan dijabarkan delapan panduan penting dalam berpikir kritis.

 Ajukan Pertanyaan; Bersedialah Mengagumi dan Bertanya

“mekanisme pemicu untuk berpikir kreatif adalah kecendrungan untuk ingin tahu, untuk berpikir, untuk menyelidiki, untuk bertanya”, demikian hasil observasi Vincent Ruggiero (1988). Pertanyaan seperti “apa yang salah disin?” dan/atau “mengapa bekerjanya seperti ini dan bagaimana bisa menjadi seperti seperti itu?” bisa membuat kita menemukan berbagai persoalan dan tantangan. Psikolog Bob Perloff (1992) pernah suatu ketika menggambarkan beberapa pertanyaan yang jawabannya tak kunjung datang.

 Mendefinisikan Istilah yang Anda Gunakan

Begitu anda mengajuka pertanyaan umum, langkah berikutnya adalah merumuskannya kedalam istilah yang jelas dan konkrit. “apa yang membuat seseorang bahagi?” merupakan tertanyaan yang bagus untuk lamunan tengah malam, namun pertanyaan seperti ini tidak akan bisa mendatangkan jawaban sebelum anda bisa mendefinisikan apa yang anda artikan sebagai “bahagia”. Apakah yang anda maksudkan adalah kondisi euforia yang terjadi hampir setiap saat? Apakah yang anda maksud dengan perasaan senang menghadapi hidup? Atau maksudnya terbebas dari masalah atau rasa sakit yang serius?

 Menilai Fakta

Terkadang pemeriksaan terhadap penilaian fakta tidak dimungkinkan. Apabila hal itu terjadi, maka pemikir kritis dapat mempertimbangkan apakah fakta itu berasal dari sumber yang dapat di percaya atau tidak (Lipss, 2004). Otoritas yang dipercaya melatih dirinya sendiri untuk berfikir kritis. Mereka memiliki pendidikan atau pengalaman disuatu bidang dimana mereka menyebut diri mereka ahli. Mereka di percaya oleh para ahli lainnya dalam bidang yang sama. Secara terbuka mereka saling terbuka satu sama lain mengenai fakta-fakta. Dalam psikologi, mereka mengadakan serangkaian penelitian menurut sejumlah aturan dan prosedur tertentu.

 Menganalisis Berbagai Asumsi dan Bias

Jika sebuah asumsi atau keyakinan mencegah kita untuk mempertimbangkan fakta secara adil atau mengakibatkan kita sepenuhnya mengabaikan fakta yang ada, asumsi atau keyakinan itu menjadi bias. Kerap kali sebuah bias tetap tersembunyi sampai suatu ketika ada orang yang mempertanyakan keyakinan kita dan kita menjadi defensif atau marah.

 Menghindari Penalaran yang Bersifat Emosional

Emosi ikut berperan dalam berfikir kritis. Komitment yang kuat terhadap suatu pandangan dapat memotivasi seseorang untuk berfikir secara berani, untuk mempertahankan ide-ide yang tidak populer, dan mencari fakta-fakta yang dapat mendukung teori-teori baru yang kreatif. Namun, jika firasat kita selalu di dasarkan pada perasaan dan mengabaikan pemikiran yang jernih, akibatnya bisa fatal. “Penganiayaan, perang, penyiksaan adalah akibat fatal dari firasat yang selalu di dasarkan pada perasaan,” .

 Jangan Terlalu Menyederhanakan Masalah

Seorang pemiir kritis berusaha meninjau lebih jauh melampaui hal-hal yang sudah nyata atau jelas. Ia menolak melakukan generalisasi yang terlalu cepat dan menolak berfikir “secara kaku”.

Salah satu bentuk sikap yang terlalu menyederhanakan masalah adalah berargumentasi dengan anekdot- melakukan generalisasi berdasarkan sebuah pengalaman pribadi atau menggunakan beberapa contoh yang dipakai sebagai kesimpulan yang berlaku umum. Para pemikir kritis menghendaki adanya dasar fakta yang lebih banyak daripada sekedar satu atau dua peristiwa saja sebelum membuat kesimpulan secara luas.

 Mempertimbangkan Berbagai Interpretasi Lain

Secara kreatif menghsilkan sebanyak mungkin penjelasan yang masuk akal mengenai topik yang di hadapi, sebelum menetapkan kemungkinan yang paling benar.

Setelah menemukan beberapa penjelasan mengenai sebuah fenomena, seorang pemikir kritis memilih satu penjelasan yang paling dapat menjelaskan fakta dan menghindari asumsi-asumsi lain yang ternyata tidak terbukti. Inilah prinsip yang dikenal sebagai Occam’s Razor, nama ini dipilih berdasarkan nama seorang filsuf pada abad ke-14 yang pertama kali merumuskannya. Seorang pemikir kritis akan memilih alternatif yang menuntut jumlah asumsi yang lebih sedikit dan memiliki lebih banyak fakta pendukung.

 Mentolerir Ketidakpastian

Belajar berpikir kritis mengajarkan kepada kita suatu pelajaran hidup yang paling sulit, yaitu: bagaimana hidup berdampingan dengan ketidakpastian. Terkadang, hanya sedikit sekali, atau bahkan sama sekali tidak ada, fakta yang tersedia untuk di telaah. Terkadang fakta hanya memungkinkan kesimpulan yang bersifat tentatif. Terkadang fakta tampak cukup kuat untuk menghasilkan kesimpulan sampai tiba saat ditemukannya fakta baru yang menggugurkan keyakinan-keyakinan yang sampai kini kita pegang. Para pemikir kritis bersedia menerima kondisi tidak pasti. Mereka tidak takut mengatakan “saya tidak tahu” atau “saya tidak yakin”. Pengakuan ini bukanlah suatu usaha menghindar atau mengelak, namun merupakan sebuah bentuk pemacu untuk penyelidikan yang lebih kreatif lagi.

Kebutuhan menerima adanya ketidakpastian tidak berarti meninggalkan semua kepercayaan dan keyakinan yang ada. Itu tidak mungkin. Kita semua membutuhkan beberapa nilai dan prinsip yang dapat mengarahkan tindakan-tindakan kita. Sebagaimana ditulis oleh Vincent Ruggiero (1988), “ masalahnya tidak disebabkan karena seseorang negikuti suatu ide – tetapi karena penolakan untuk mengikuti ide itu meskipun masuk akal. Kita boleh saja mempunyai suatu keyakinan dan menjadikannya sebagai pedoman, tetapi sebaiknya kita menyertainya dengan sikap bersedia meninjaunya kembali bila diperlukan, ketika ditemukan fakta baru”.

Berpikir kritis merupakan sebuah proses yang terus-menerus bergulir bukan sesuatu yang telah selesai. Tidak ada seorangpun yang dapat menjadi seorang pemikir kritis yang sempurna, yang seluruhnya terlepas dari penalaran yang bersifat emosional maupun pengandaian. Kita semua sebetulnya kurang berfikir secara terbuka; kita lebih mudah melihat kepincangan atau kelemahan argumentasi orang lain alih-alih menelaah secara kritis pendapat diri kita sendiri. Sebagaimana yang diobservasi oleh filsuf Richard W. Paul (1984), berfikir kritis sebenarnya adalah “berfikir secara adil dalam kehidupan sehari-hari”.
